Overview
Paste any link into a Taskade project and it lands as a clean, titled bookmark. Drop in a URL, and Taskade pulls the page title so you save a readable label instead of a raw https://... string. Every saved link sits inside a real project, so you can tag it, assign it, share it, or turn it into a task in one click.
TL;DR: Copy a URL, click into any task, and press
Cmd + V(Mac) orCtrl + V(PC). Taskade auto-fetches the page title and saves it as a clean, clickable bookmark inside your project. Organize it across 7 project views, share it with your team, or turn it into a task. No browser extension required. Start free →
Paste a Link in Three Steps
Save any web page as a bookmark in seconds. The steps work in any project, on any plan, including Free.
- Copy the URL. Highlight the address in your browser bar and press
Cmd + C(Mac) orCtrl + C(PC). - Click into a task. Open any Taskade project and click where you want the link to live. Create a new line if you want it on its own.
- Paste it. Press
Cmd + V(Mac) orCtrl + V(PC). Taskade fetches the page title and saves a clean, clickable bookmark in place of the raw URL.
That is the whole flow. The diagram below shows what happens behind the paste.
Turn Plain Text into a Hyperlink
Want a link behind a word instead of a standalone bookmark? Highlight the text first, then paste.
- Type the words you want to link, like read the guide.
- Copy the URL you want to point to.
- Highlight your text and press
Cmd + V(Mac) orCtrl + V(PC).
Taskade wraps your highlighted text in the link. This is handy for notes, briefs, and shared docs where you want clean prose instead of long URLs. For more text tricks, see Editing & Formatting and Markdown Support.
Organize and Share Your Saved Links
Every link lives inside a real project, not a flat bookmarks list. That means you can shape it however your team works.

Build a Living Link Hub with Taskade Genesis
Saving links is the first step. The bigger win is turning that list into something that works for you. Describe a research tracker, a resource library, or a reading queue in plain language, and Taskade Genesis builds it as a live app with structure, AI agents, and automations already wired in.
From there, AI agents with 33 built-in tools, including web search, can read your saved links, summarize them, and pull out next steps. You can route new links to the right person automatically with 100+ bidirectional integrations. One prompt, and your bookmarks become a system.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I paste any link?
Yes. Paste any valid URL into a task, from articles and docs to videos and dashboards. Press Cmd + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (PC) inside any project and Taskade saves it as a clean, clickable bookmark. This works on every plan, including Free.
Does Taskade auto-fetch the page title?
Yes. When you paste a URL, Taskade reads the destination page and saves its title as the label. You get a readable bookmark like "Best AI App Builders" instead of a long raw address. If you prefer custom wording, highlight your own text first, then paste to put the link behind it.
How do I save a YouTube link?
Paste the YouTube URL into a task the same way you paste any link. Taskade saves it as a titled bookmark you can click to watch. To play the video inside your project, use the Embed Add-On from Task Add-Ons instead of a plain paste.
Can I paste multiple links at once?
Yes. Paste links one per line to create a list of bookmarks you can sort, tag, and assign. For a big batch from a spreadsheet or another tool, use CSV Import or Markdown Import to bring them all in at once.
Where are my saved links stored?
Every link lives inside the Taskade project where you pasted it. Nothing is hidden in a separate bookmarks folder. Open the project to find it, switch to any of the 7 views, or use Search to jump straight to it.
Can I turn a saved link into a task?
Yes. A pasted link is already a line in your project, so it behaves like any task. Add a due date, assign it to a teammate, drop it on the Board, or check it off when you are done. See Manage Tasks for the full set of options.
Does pasting links work on mobile?
Yes. Open the Taskade app on iOS or Android, long-press inside a task, and tap Paste. Taskade saves the link as a clean bookmark the same way it does on desktop. See the Mobile Guide for more on the app.
Can I share saved links with my team?
Yes. Because links live in a shared project, your team sees them the moment you paste. Invite teammates with Share Project, or Embed the project on a site or wiki so anyone can browse the list.
