TL;DR: Taskade uses your browser or OS native spell checker, so the same red squiggle and right-click suggestions you see everywhere else work inside projects too. Supports every language your OS supports — no separate config needed.

Overview

Taskade relies on your operating system and web browser spell check to highlight misspelled words as you type. You can enable or disable this feature in the Desktop app settings or in your browser preferences. Below are step-by-step instructions for each platform.

Tips

  • If spell check highlights words that are correct (e.g., technical terms or brand names), right-click the word and choose Add to Dictionary to stop future flags.
  • You can add multiple languages in your browser settings so spell check works for multilingual content.
  • Spell check in the Desktop app uses the same dictionary as your operating system, so any custom words you have added system-wide will be recognized.
  • For grammar and style suggestions beyond basic spell check, consider using a browser extension alongside Taskade.
