Overview

This guide explains how to delete your Taskade account and export your data. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.


How to Delete Your Account

To permanently delete your Taskade account:

  1. Go to Settings → Account.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
  3. Click Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion by typing your email address.

⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your workspaces, projects, agents, automations, and data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.


Before You Delete

Before deleting your account, make sure to:

  • Cancel your subscription — If you have an active paid plan, cancel it first to avoid further charges. See Billing FAQ.
  • Export your data — Download any projects or files you want to keep (see below).
  • Transfer workspace ownership — If you own shared workspaces, transfer ownership to another member first.

How to Export Your Data

You can export individual projects before deleting your account:

  1. Open the project you want to export.
  2. Click the menu (top-right corner).
  3. Select Export and choose your format (Markdown, PDF, or plain text).

GDPR & Data Privacy

Taskade complies with GDPR and other data privacy regulations. When you delete your account:

  • All personal data is permanently removed from our systems.
  • This process may take up to 30 days to complete across all backups.
