More AI Keys & One-Click App Updates
v6.290.0
More AI Keys and One Connections Page
Your custom agents can now run on your own key from DeepSeek, Z.ai, Moonshot AI, Alibaba Qwen, Cerebras, the Google Gemini API, Azure OpenAI, or Cloudflare Workers AI. A Google Gemini API key works on Pro and up, and the other new keys work on Business and up. See Bring Your Own AI Keys (BYOK) to add one, and pricing for each plan.
- An agent inside an app uses the key of that app first, then the key of your main workspace
- Automation AI steps can run on your xAI, DeepSeek, Z.ai, or Alibaba Qwen key on Business and up
- An automation step that runs on your own AI key now uses a small fixed step fee in credits, and Groq and OpenRouter steps need Business and up
- Connections now has the same name in the sidebar, the tabs, and the command menu, with two sections: AI Model Keys and Apps
- Each key shows its name, its provider, and one status word, such as Active or Key out of funds
- The sidebar keeps one Media Files row for the files of your workspace
App Settings and One-Click Updates
Every app now has an App settings row in its sidebar, with one row for each settings tab.
- The publish button reads Publish, Update, or Live. On a wide screen, click Update to put your changes live in one click
- When your app is live on a custom domain, the live dialog shares that domain
- Pro now connects up to 10 custom domains, Business and up connect as many as you need, and a domain you buy in Taskade never counts
- Each custom domain shows one plain status: Waiting, Securing, Live, or Needs a fix, with Show DNS records beside it
- Settings tabs read Launch, People & access, and Developer, and the command menu calls the Workspace DNA view DNA Map
- Taskade EVE now builds a new app without a sign-in screen, unless you ask for one
Run Automations From Your AI Tools
Taskade MCP, the link that lets AI apps such as Cursor work with your workspace, can now start your automations and show how they ran. See Hosted Taskade MCP for the setup.
- Start an automation that runs on demand from your AI app, then see its recent runs and the step that failed
- Project, agent, and automation lists now arrive in pages, so your AI app gets every item in a large workspace
- Read the agent chats that you started in the web app
- Workspace members can now see who is in a project from a connected AI app
Write Faster in Your Projects
Type / and pick Current date or Current date and time to insert a date in List, Board, Mind Map, and Actionsheet views.
- Type
->,<-, or<->to get an arrow - Type a plain number in a timer to set minutes, or use
1h30mand90s
Fixes
- Your automation no longer turns itself off after a few failed runs caused on Taskade's side, such as a web search or AI model outage
- Taskade EVE now keeps the time and the time zone of a date and time field when it reads or changes a task
- Taskade EVE now sees how long ago each automation run happened, so an old failure no longer reads as a current one
- Another account can no longer claim a name under your verified custom domain
- The error card in a Taskade EVE chat is quieter and lines up with the chat
