TL;DR: Type
/inside any project to open the slash command menu, insert headings, tasks, tables, embeds, AI prompts, date pickers, and more without lifting your hands from the keyboard. Pair with keyboard shortcuts for mouse-free editing.
Every slash command follows the same four steps, from typing the trigger to inserting the result.
Overview
Slash commands put every Taskade action one keystroke away. Type / inside any task to insert headings, tables, dates, assignees, AI prompts, and add-ons without leaving the keyboard, so you keep your flow while building a project.
Use Slash Commands
- Type "/" anywhere in the Project to bring up a handy menu that lets you access Taskade's add-ons and formatting shortcuts in one place
- Type further or scroll the list to find the command you're looking for
- For example typing /comment will bring up a comment pop-up
- Hit Enter to use the selected feature
