GitHub App Imports & Automation Links
v6.289.0
Bring Your Work From Other Tools
The + New app menu now has an Import row, so you can bring in an App Kit or an app from GitHub right where you start a new app.
- Import any app's code from GitHub, and Taskade EVE opens a draft that rebuilds it as a Taskade Genesis app. Nothing runs until you send the draft
- Bring what another AI knows about you into Taskade EVE memory. Under Settings > Account, pick Import from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, copy the prompt, paste the answer, and click Add to memory
See Which Automations Use Your Work
Your projects, agents, and automation runs now show the automations that connect them.
- The Links pill on a project lists the automations that use the project
- The Automation tab of an agent lists the automations that use the agent
- Run Details shows Started by when another automation started the run, with a link to that run
- The DNA Map draws a line from each automation to the projects and agents that it uses, and to the automations that it starts
Find Your Projects Faster
The Create screen now has an Open my projects link under the prompt box.
- If you manage the workspace, pick Always open Projects here to make Projects the first screen
- A workspace that you started before the app builder, and that holds projects, now opens on Projects. Change it under Settings > General > Landing view
- The Projects tab folds the memory projects of Taskade EVE into one Memory row, so your own projects come first
More Tools for Your Agents
Your custom agents can now use Taskade project and task actions as tools. Add them to an agent to find projects, read or export a project, create, read, or update a task, add a comment, and update custom fields.
Before an agent runs one of these tools, Taskade checks that the person who approved the action can view or edit the project.
Fixes
- My Tasks, Calendar, and backlinks no longer show a workspace or project that you left long ago
- In the Taskade mobile app, a project link from home, recents, search, or a mention now opens in the app's own editor
