Choose annual or monthly billing
Pick the billing cycle that fits your budget. Annual billing gives you the lowest price per month and one clean charge per year. Monthly billing costs a little more per month but gives you flexibility to pause sooner. You can switch cycles anytime from your billing settings.

Understand how AI credits work
AI credits power every AI feature in Taskade: app building, AI agents, automations, chat, and image generation. Credits are consumed each time the AI processes a request. The cost depends on the model you pick and how complex the task is. Lighter models cost fewer credits, so you can stretch your allowance by choosing them for simple jobs.
Your monthly credits reset on your billing anchor date, the day you first subscribed or last renewed. If you started your plan on the 14th, your credits refresh on the 14th every month. You can watch your usage anytime on the Usage page.

Non-AI features keep working even if your AI credits run low. Your projects, all 9 project views, real-time sync, and non-AI automations stay available. Only AI actions pause until your credits refresh or you add more.
Manage your subscription
You stay in control of your plan. Switch tiers, change your billing cycle, update your card, or cancel anytime from one place. Changes take effect right away or at your next renewal, depending on what you pick.
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Click Manage Subscription.
- Choose to upgrade, downgrade, switch billing cycle, or cancel.
- Confirm. Your new plan or cycle is reflected on your next charge.
If a renewal payment ever fails, a recovery banner appears at the top of your workspace with a one-click link to update your card. Your plan stays active during a short grace window, so you have time to fix the payment without losing access.

Is my billing secure?
Yes. All payments run through Stripe, a trusted global payment provider. Taskade never stores your full card number. Stripe handles the card details and encrypts every transaction. Credit pack purchases also appear in your workspace activity log for audit tracking, so you always have a record of what was charged.
What payment methods work?
You can pay with all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more through Stripe. To start or change a plan, see Upgrade to Premium.

How do I manage team seats?
Add or remove members from your workspace settings. Free includes 1 member, Pro includes 10, and Business, Max, and Enterprise include unlimited members. AI usage is metered in credits, not seats, so adding a teammate does not change your credit cost on its own. See Invite Members and Roles & Permissions for how seats and the 7 role levels work.
Where are my invoices?
Open Settings → Billing to view and download every invoice and receipt. Each charge from Stripe also arrives by email. Keep your Stripe receipt handy if you ever need to contact support about a charge.
Can I change or pause my plan?
You can cancel anytime from your account settings:
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel Subscription. It is a small text link, not a button.

What AI models are available?

Can I connect my AI tools?
Yes. Taskade works as an MCP server, so you can connect it to any MCP client and let that client read your agents, projects, and automations in one place. The hosted MCP server is available on every paid plan. See Hosted MCP server for setup.
How do I activate my upgrade?
After upgrading, sign out and back in to refresh your session. Then check Settings → Billing to confirm your new plan is active. Stripe processing takes up to 2 minutes. If your plan still shows the old tier after 5 minutes, contact support with your Stripe receipt.
What is a credit pack?
A credit pack is a one-time purchase of extra AI credits, available on any paid plan, that stacks on top of your monthly allowance, so your team never blocks on a depleted balance. Buy one anytime at taskade.com/upgrade/credits. Larger packs give more credits per dollar, and the current pack sizes are listed on that page. Every credit pack purchase appears in your workspace activity log for audit tracking. Pair packs with auto top-up to refill automatically when you hit zero.
What is auto top-up?
Auto top-up, included on every paid plan, automatically buys a credit pack when your AI credit balance hits zero, so your AI work never pauses mid-task. It charges your card on file through Stripe. LTD and AppSumo lifetime deals
If you bought a lifetime deal through AppSumo or another launch, this section is for you. Your original deal is intact. Here is exactly what stays included and how AI credits work for your plan.
LTD plans keep all original features: unlimited workspaces, users, projects, storage, and collaboration. These are intact and unchanged.
AI features (agents, Taskade Genesis app building, AI automations) are now usage-based across all plans, including LTD. LTDs were sold before Taskade AI existed. AI credits were extended voluntarily as a goodwill gesture and are not part of the original LTD purchase.

- Stay on LTD and buy credit packs as needed
- Upgrade to Max or Enterprise with an exclusive 25% lifetime discount using code LTD26
- BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) is available on your lifetime tier. Add your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google key under Connections → AI Model Keys, then pick a specific model rather than Auto, and those calls bill to your provider account instead of your Taskade credits

LTD FAQ:
- Is this a bug? No. AI credit allocation has been updated intentionally across all plans.
- Can I get my old credits back? The monthly credit allocation was a voluntary extension, not part of the original purchase.
- What is LTD26? A 25% lifetime discount coupon for Max or Enterprise, exclusive to LTD holders.
- Is BYOK available? Yes, on Enterprise and on AppSumo and PitchGround lifetime tiers. Add your own OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google key under Connections → AI Model Keys, and it covers your custom agents plus the Ask AI and Generate with AI automation steps. Two limits worth knowing: it does not cover Taskade Genesis app building or Taskade EVE chat, and the agent or step must be set to a specific model. Leaving it on Auto still uses Taskade credits. - What if I don't buy credits? Non-AI features keep working. AI features pause until you add credits.
Cycle-aligned AI credit windows
Your monthly AI credit window now resets on your billing-cycle anchor instead of the calendar month. If you started your plan on the 14th, your monthly credit refresh hits the 14th every month. Predictable for budgeting, fair across signup dates.
- Anchor date is the day you first subscribed (or last renewed) on this plan
- Monthly refresh lands on that same day each cycle
- Annual plans keep their existing rollover behavior
- Plan changes retain your unused credits on the existing cycle until the next anchor
