How do AI credits work?
AI credits power all AI features in Taskade — app building, AI agents, automations, chat, image generation, and more. Credits are consumed each time the AI processes a request. The cost depends on the model used and the complexity of the task.
Credits reset monthly on your billing date. You can monitor your usage on the Usage & Billing page.

What payment methods can I use?

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings:
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Click Manage Subscription.
- Select Cancel Plan.
Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. For refund requests, please contact our support team.
What AI models are available?
Taskade gives you access to 15+ frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and leading open-source providers. You can select your preferred model from the model selector dropdown in any AI-powered feature. For the most up-to-date model details, see our Taskade AI usage guide.
I upgraded but features still don't work — why?
After upgrading, sign out and back in to refresh your session. Then check Settings → Billing to verify your new plan is active. Stripe processing takes up to 2 minutes. If your plan still shows the old tier after 5 minutes, contact support with your Stripe receipt.
What is auto top-up?
You can buy extra AI credits at taskade.com/upgrade/credits. Larger packs give significantly more value per dollar:

What is auto top-up?
Auto top-up automatically purchases a credit pack when your AI credit balance hits zero. It's charged to your card on file via Stripe. You can disable it at Settings → Billing → toggle Auto Top-Up OFF. See the full guide: Auto Top-Up: How It Works.
I have an LTD (Lifetime Deal) plan. What changed?
LTD plans retain all original features — unlimited workspaces, users, projects, storage, and collaboration. These are intact and unchanged.
AI features (agents, Taskade Genesis app building, AI automations) are now usage-based across all plans, including LTD. LTDs were sold before Taskade AI existed — AI credits were extended voluntarily as a goodwill gesture and are not part of the original LTD purchase.
Your options:
- Stay on LTD and buy credit packs as needed
- Upgrade to Max or Enterprise with an exclusive 25% lifetime discount using code LTD26
- BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) is in active development — connect your own API key at zero Taskade credit cost

LTD FAQ:
- Is this a bug? No. AI credit allocation has been updated intentionally across all plans.
- Can I get my old credits back? The monthly credit allocation was a voluntary extension, not part of the original purchase.
- What is LTD26? A 25% lifetime discount coupon for Max or Enterprise, exclusive to LTD holders.
- When is BYOK coming? In active development. Will support OpenRouter, Anthropic, and OpenAI API keys.
- What if I don't buy credits? Non-AI features keep working. AI features pause until you add credits.
Cycle-aligned AI credit windows
Your monthly AI credit window now resets on your billing-cycle anchor instead of the calendar month. If you started your plan on the 14th, your monthly credit refresh hits the 14th every month. Predictable for budgeting, fair across signup dates.
- Anchor date is the day you first subscribed (or last renewed) on this plan
- Monthly refresh lands on that same day each cycle
- Annual plans keep their existing rollover behavior
- Plan changes retain your unused credits on the existing cycle until the next anchor
This change rolled out across v6.161 and v6.162. Open Settings → Billing to see your next reset date.
