Dropbox Integration

Updated 2026-08-11·3 min read

Overview

Taskade makes it quick and easy to upload your Dropbox files. You'll need to connect your Dropbox account to use this feature (don't worry, you'll only need to do that once).

TL;DR: Connect your Dropbox account once, then pull files straight into Taskade projects, tasks, project chat, and comments. Files uploaded to a project also land in the media manager, so they can power your AI agents as knowledge sources.

Here is where you can drop Dropbox files, and how to open each surface:

Upload surface How to open it Best for
Project or task Add-ons menu (plus icon or /dropbox), then Upload File Attaching reference files to your work
Project chat Cloud icon at the bottom of the chat box Sharing a file in a live discussion
Comment Add-ons menu, then Comment, then Upload File Adding a file to one task's thread

📝 Note: Be sure to check our Box, Google Drive, and OneDrive integrations.
