Overview
You can buy a custom domain for your Taskade Genesis app without leaving Taskade. We handle the registrar, DNS, and SSL on your behalf, so the domain points at your app the moment payment clears. No Cloudflare tab, no nameserver edits, no waiting for propagation runbooks.
TL;DR: Open Settings → Domain inside your Taskade Genesis app, search a name, pay with the card on file, and the domain attaches automatically. DNS, SSL, and renewals are all handled for you. Available on Business and above. To bring a domain you already own, see Custom Domains.
Buy a new domain
The whole flow takes about a minute on a good name.
- Open the app you want to brand.
- Click Settings → Domain.
- Type the name you want. Suggestions appear with available TLDs and prices.
- Pick a TLD and click Buy.
- Confirm the charge on the card on file. The domain reserves immediately.
- Watch the status badge move from Configuring to Live. Most domains are live in under five minutes.

Once Live, your app answers on the new URL. Any old /spaces/{spaceId} link keeps working as a redirect.

Renewals and transfers
Annual auto-renew is on by default. Change the card on file or turn auto-renew off in Settings → Domain → Billing.
To transfer a domain out to another registrar, open a support ticket. We send the auth code, unlock the domain, and confirm the transfer in your inbox. Transfer fees follow the receiving registrar's policy, not ours.

Tips
A few habits keep the launch clean.
- Buy the domain first, then publish. Avoids one round of share-link cleanup later.
- For brand campaigns, buy the matching
.complus a short ccTLD like.ioor.app. Point them at the same Space. - Use one Space per brand. Splitting brands across Spaces keeps analytics, sign-in, and billing tidy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which plan do I need to buy a domain inside Taskade?
Buying a domain inside Taskade is available on the Business plan and up. That covers Business at $40/mo, Max at $200/mo, and Enterprise at $400/mo, all on annual billing. The Free, Starter, and Pro plans do not include custom domains. The same Business and above tier also lets you attach a domain you already own.
How long until my new domain goes live?
Most domains go live in under five minutes. After you confirm the charge, the status badge moves from Configuring to Live, and your app answers on the new URL. Taskade handles the registrar, DNS, and SSL for you, so there is no manual propagation to wait on.
Is SSL set up automatically?
Yes. Because Taskade manages the DNS for domains you buy here, the secure padlock turns on by itself with no verification steps for you. There is nothing to buy, upload, or rotate. Renewal of the certificate is hands-off too.
What does the price cover?
The price you see is the full bundle, with no add-ons or upsells later. What happens to my old app links after the domain goes live?
They keep working. Once the domain is Live, it becomes the canonical URL for your Space, and any old /spaces/{spaceId} link redirects to it automatically. Existing share links and embeds in other sites continue to load, with the new URL showing in the address bar.
