Pause an Automation Until Someone Approves
Your automations can now stop at a Wait for approval step and wait for a teammate to say yes before they send money, mail, or a post. See Automations to build one.
- Find Wait for approval under the new Approvals group when you add a step
- Pick who approves, what they see, and how long to wait: 1, 3, or 7 days
- Each approver gets a Review link in Activity, by email, and as a browser notification. The first answer counts
- The Runs tab shows Waiting for approval with Approve and Reject buttons
- If nobody answers in time, the step approves or rejects, as you set it
Retry a Step When an App Is Busy
A step can now wait and try again when the app it calls is busy or down, so one short outage no longer fails the whole run.
- Turn on Retry if this step fails in the step settings
- Wait 1 to 5 minutes between tries, and try again up to 5 times
- Retries can delay later runs of the same automation, and a step that sends a message can send it twice
Share Your App as a Free Template
The App published dialog now offers one quiet line: Share as a free template in the app gallery. Click Add and others can clone your Taskade Genesis app from the Taskade App Factory.
Fixes
- Taskade EVE no longer says the AI is down when a model refuses a request
- Cropping a workspace icon or an agent picture now saves when your browser is zoomed out
