Overview
The Taskade Builder Community is where creators share public apps and App Kits. Open a kit to test its live preview, inspect the parts behind it, and decide whether it fits your workspace.
TL;DR: An App Kit can package an app interface with Projects, AI agents, and Automations. Preview the live app, open Workspace to inspect its Workspace DNA, then clone an editable copy into a workspace you choose. Creators can also sell original App Kits from Publish. Browse App Kits.
Understand App Kits
Use an App Kit as a shareable workspace package that you can clone and build on. A kit can include:
- Projects (Memory): Pre-structured databases and content
- AI agents (Intelligence): Pre-trained agents for the specific use case
- Automations (Execution): Pre-configured triggers and actions
- Taskade Genesis apps (optional): A pre-built interface layer on top
A kit gives you an editable starting point. Its public page shows the app and the available Workspace DNA before you clone it.

Preview an App Kit
Open the public App Kit page before cloning:
- Visit taskade.com/apps.
- Browse or search for a use case.
- Open an App Kit and use Preview to test the live app.
- Switch between desktop and mobile preview sizes.
- Open Workspace to view how the kit's Projects, AI agents, and Automations connect.
On smaller screens, use the Preview and Workspace tabs. Select a Workspace DNA item to inspect it before cloning.
Clone into Your Workspace
Clone only after you review what the kit includes.
- Click Clone on the App Kit page.
- Review the kit contents and any clone breakdown Taskade shows.
- Name your editable copy.
- Choose the destination workspace.
- Confirm the clone and wait for the workspace handoff.
Your copy is separate from the original. Later changes by the original creator do not change your clone.
Before you clone, examine the contents listed by Taskade. Projects, AI agents, and automations can include their current content and setup. Connected accounts and secrets are not copied.
Publish an App Kit
Use Share as kit when you want other people to clone an app and its Workspace DNA.
- Build your app with Taskade Genesis, then publish it.
- Open Publish.
- Open Share as kit.
- Choose Free.
- Review the disclosure, then confirm the change.
Visibility and clone permission are two separate controls, and Share as kit sets both. Choosing Free or Paid also sets visibility to Public, so you do not need a separate step for it. Public visibility on its own does not make an app cloneable. Free and Paid both create a cloneable kit. Off stops new clones. Only the workspace owner can share an app as a kit.
Before you choose Free, remove private data from the app and its Workspace DNA. A clone can include project content, agent settings, and automations. Connected accounts and secrets stay with you.
Sell an Original App Kit
Open Publish when you want to sell an app that you created.
- Open Share as kit.
- Choose Paid.
- Enter the price shown in the panel.
- Review the earnings estimate, then click Put on sale.
- Open Earnings to finish payout setup.
The Paid option makes the app cloneable because each buyer receives an editable App Kit. You cannot sell an app that you cloned from another creator. See Sell Your Taskade Genesis App as an App Kit for the full process.
Arrange the starting layout.
Pin the most-used projects or templates to shape the starting layout that cloners receive.
- Pin a project or template inside your Taskade Genesis app before you publish.
- Re-arrange pins until the first impression matches what you want a cloner to see.
- Publish the App Kit and check the cloned result.
This is the difference between a shuffled deck and a starter board.

Use these tips to choose and adapt a kit.
- Start with a relevant kit. A kit can reduce setup when its Projects, AI agents, and Automations match your use case.
- Customize your copy. After cloning, rename projects, update agent instructions, adjust automation triggers, and rebrand the interface as needed.
- Contribute back. If you improve a cloned kit or build a new one, publish it to the Community Gallery.
- Explore by category. Use the category filter on the Community page to find kits that match your industry or use case.
