Claim Your Username
- Open Settings → Profile.
- Pick a handle (letters, numbers, and dashes).
- Save.
Your profile is live immediately at taskade.com/user/yourname. The handle is yours to keep. No approval queue.
What Lives on Your Profile
Your public page pulls together everything that's discoverable:
- Published app kits — every Taskade Genesis app you shared to the Community Gallery
- Bio — a short description of who you are and what you build
- Socials and links — website, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, custom links
- XP and level — your creator badge based on activity
- Leaderboard rank — where you sit in the global creator ranking
Publish Apps to Your Profile
Anything you publish to the Community Gallery shows up on your profile automatically. To publish:
- Open a Taskade Genesis app.
- Click Share → Publish to Community.
- Write a short description, pick a category, and confirm.

Tips for a Profile That Gets Discovered
- Pick a handle people remember. Short, brandable, matches your other socials.
- Write a strong bio. One sentence on who you help and what you build.
- Link your main socials. X, LinkedIn, and your website drive the most referral traffic.
- Publish one polished app first. Quality over quantity. A tight Taskade Genesis app earns more clones than five half-baked ones.
- Write a punchy description per app. The first line shows up on your profile card.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my handle later?
Yes. Update it in Settings → Profile. Old URLs redirect to the new handle.
Are profiles indexed by Google?
Yes. Public profiles and published apps are indexable, so your work shows up in search over time.
Can I hide my profile?
Yes. Flip your profile to private in settings. Your published apps stay accessible, but the profile page is not listed.
Do I have to publish apps to have a profile?
No. You can claim the handle now and publish later. The page simply shows your bio and socials until then.
