How do I invite someone to join my Workspace?

Overview

Invite teammates, clients, or collaborators to your Taskade workspace so you can work together in real time. You can invite users by email or by sharing a link.


How to Invite Members

Invite by Email

  1. Click the ⚙️ Settings icon in the bottom-left sidebar.
  2. Select Members from the settings menu.
  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  4. Choose their permission level (Owner, Maintainer, Editor, Commenter, Collaborator, Participant, or Viewer).
  5. Click Invite to send the invitation.
  1. Open Settings → Members.
  2. Click Copy Invite Link to generate a shareable URL.
  3. Send the link to anyone — they can join by clicking it and creating an account.

💡 Tip: Invite links can be regenerated or disabled at any time from the same settings page.


Manage Members

  • View all current members and their roles in Settings → Members.
  • Change a member's role by clicking the dropdown next to their name.
  • Remove a member by clicking the icon next to their entry.

Tips

  • Assign new members to specific Folders to limit their access to relevant projects.
  • Use the Collaborator or Viewer role for external clients who only need limited access.
  • Members receive a notification email when invited — they can accept from the email or from their Taskade dashboard.
  • Pending invitations are visible in Settings → Members — you can resend or revoke them at any time.
  • On paid plans, workspace size scales with your subscription. Check Settings → Plans for your current member limit.
