Overview

Share individual projects with teammates or external collaborators without giving them full workspace access. This is useful for sharing a single document, task list, or mind map with someone outside your organization.

How to Share a Project

Watch this short video guide:

  1. Open the project you want to share.
  2. Click the Share button in the top-right corner.
  3. Toggle Share via link to enable public or restricted access.
  4. Copy the link and send it to your collaborators.

Share by Email

  1. Open the project and click Share.
  2. Enter the recipient's email address.
  3. Choose their permission level — Editor, Commenter, or Viewer.
  4. Click Invite to send the invitation.

💡 Tip: Shared projects appear in the recipient's 👥 Shared with me tab in the sidebar.

Tips

  • Revoke access at any time by removing the user from the share settings.
  • Shared projects are separate from workspace membership — the recipient only sees that one project.
  • Use password protection for sensitive shared content.
  • You can share the same project with multiple people at different permission levels — for example, one person as Editor and another as Viewer.
  • Shared project links can be set to expire or be regenerated if you need to rotate access.
