Review and Sign Out Active Sessions

Updated 2026-09-02·3 min read

Overview

Taskade keeps you signed in on every device you use. The Sessions page lists those devices, shows when each one was last active, and lets you sign a device out. Review the list after you lose a laptop, sell a phone, or finish work on a shared computer.

TL;DR: Open Settings → Sessions to see every device signed in to your account, with its platform, device name, and last-used time. Click Revoke Access on any row to sign that device out. Pair this with two-factor sign-in and a fresh password.

Open your session list

  1. Click your profile picture in the bottom-left corner.
  2. Select ⚙️ Settings.
  3. Select Sessions in the tab row across the top of the Account page.

You can also open taskade.com/settings/sessions directly.

Read the session table

Each row is one signed-in device. Four columns describe it.

Column What it tells you
Platform The operating system or client the session runs on
Device The device or browser name Taskade recorded at sign-in
Last Used How long ago that device last reached Taskade
Access Current Session for the device you are on now, or a Revoke Access button

The device you are reading this on shows Current Session instead of a button, so you cannot sign yourself out by accident.

Sign a device out

  1. Find the row for the device you want to remove.
  2. Click Revoke Access.
  3. Wait for the row to read Revoked.

The revoked device must sign in again before it can reach your workspaces. Revoking one session does not touch the others.

Act on a session you do not recognize

If a row lists a device you do not recognize, treat it as a compromised sign-in. Work through these steps in order.

  1. Click Revoke Access on that row.
  2. Change your password so the old one stops working.
  3. Turn on two-factor sign-in to require a second step next time.
  4. Open Settings → Account and review the social sign-in connections you allow.
  5. Ask a workspace Owner to review member roles if the account can reach shared work. See Roles and Permissions.

If your team signs in through single sign-on, remove the person in your identity provider as well. Your directory holds the source of truth there, not Taskade. See Automatic User Provisioning with SCIM.

Common questions

Does revoking a session delete anything?

No. Revoking signs a device out. Your projects, agents, and automations stay exactly as they are.

Why does one device appear more than once?

Each browser and each app keeps its own session. A laptop that runs both the desktop app and a browser shows two rows.

How do I sign out everywhere at once?

Revoke every row except Current Session, then sign out of the current device. Change your password afterward if you suspect that someone else had access.
