Overview
Sometimes, your internet service provider (ISP) may use security software that can mistakenly block access to the Taskade domain. This is unlikely to happen, but if you encounter problems, we recommend contacting your ISP directly to resolve the issue. ISP-level blocks can occur due to overly aggressive content filters, corporate firewall rules, or DNS-based restrictions that flag domains they have not reviewed.
How to Fix It
Contact Your ISP
- Call or email your ISP's support team.
- Ask them to whitelist the following domains:
taskade.com*.taskade.comapp.taskade.com
- Request confirmation that the domains have been unblocked.
- Restart your router and try accessing Taskade again.
Use Cloudflare's Free VPN (1.1.1.1)
As an interim solution, you can use Cloudflare's free VPN to bypass ISP-level blocks:
- Visit https://1.1.1.1/ in your web browser.
- Choose your operating system and follow the installation instructions.
- Enable the VPN connection.
- Reopen Taskade and test the connection.
Try a Different DNS Provider
If you prefer not to use a VPN, switching your DNS settings can also help:
- Open your device's Network Settings.
- Change your DNS server to one of the following:
- Cloudflare:
1.1.1.1and1.0.0.1 - Google:
8.8.8.8and8.8.4.4
- Cloudflare:
- Save the settings and restart your browser.
- Navigate to https://www.taskade.com to verify access.
Tips
- If you are on a corporate or school network, contact your IT administrator instead of the ISP. They may need to update the organization's firewall or proxy rules.
- Clear your browser cache after making DNS or VPN changes to ensure stale entries do not interfere.
- Test from a different device or network (for example, mobile data) to confirm the block is ISP-related and not a local issue.
