Kit Versions, Categories & Themed App Screens
Better Tools for Kit Creators
Your App Kit now shows its version, its category, and its sample data in the Publish menu. See Sell Your App Kits for the full flow.
- The kit row shows the version that people get, such as Kit v3, and tells you when your live app has changes since then
- Click Publish kit update to release a new kit version when the kit is behind your live app
- Pick up to two Category pages of the Community Gallery where people find your kit
- Use Ship sample data with the kit to keep the example rows of a project in every copy
- Get an email the first time someone clones your kit
- See the clones and likes of your kits in your weekly digest
Themed Loading and Error Screens
Every Taskade Genesis app now shows its loading screen and its error screen in its own colors, and the error screen has a Reload button. New apps also get a "This page does not exist" screen with a link to the home page. The Taskade badge moves to the bottom-left corner and stays above the bottom bar of an app on a phone.
Forms That Stay Open to Everyone
Taskade EVE now keeps a public form open when you ask for staff sign-in. Applicants fill in the form with no account, and only your staff sign in to see the answers.
- The staff sign-in screen uses the colors and fonts of your app
- The sign-in screen shows Create an account when anyone can sign up
Release Kit Versions From Your AI Tools
Taskade MCP can now list your kits and publish a new kit version. A fix that you make from Claude or ChatGPT then reaches the people who clone your kit. See Hosted Taskade MCP for the setup.
Fixes
- An automation no longer starts itself again on a task that its own run added
- Enter now sends the answer that you picked on a Taskade EVE question card
- A kit keeps its sample rows when an automation changes only the settings of a project
- A kit keeps its function and industry categories when you pick its type
