Definition: App Tiles are the visual representations of your Taskade Genesis applications that appear below the Generator Input field in your workspace, providing clickable access to all your apps at a glance.
What Are App Tiles?
When you create apps with Taskade Genesis, each one appears as an App Tile in your workspace:
Visual Preview: Thumbnail showing your app's interface
Quick Access: One click to open any app
Status Indicators: See which apps are published, private, or in development
Organization: Apps organized by creation date or custom arrangement
App Tile Components
App Thumbnail:
Auto-generated preview image of your app's main interface. Updates automatically when you make changes.
App Name:
The title you gave your app during creation. Editable anytime.
Status Badge:
- ๐ Private - workspace only
- ๐ Secret - unlisted, share by link
- ๐ Public - published to the world
Quick Actions:
Hover for options like Edit, Preview, Publish, Duplicate, and Share.
Working with App Tiles
Creating Apps:
Use the Generator Input field above App Tiles to describe a new app. Taskade Genesis builds it and adds a new tile automatically.
Opening Apps:
Click any App Tile to open the app in editor mode with preview panel.
Organizing:
Drag and drop to rearrange. Most important apps at the top for quick access.
Searching:
Use the search bar to find specific apps as your collection grows.
