How do AI Kits work?
Installing a kit clones the original into your workspace. The original stays where it is, and changes in your copy never flow back to it.
- Build. Describe the app to Taskade EVE and refine it until it works.
- Choose a sharing mode. Open Publish and pick Off, Free, or Paid under Let others clone (called Share as kit before October 2026).
- List. Free and paid kits appear in the Community Gallery.
- Clone. An installer clones a free kit in one click, or buys a paid kit once and then clones it.
- Customize. The installer renames, edits, connects their own accounts, and publishes.

Review every project, agent, and automation before you list a kit, because projects can carry their current content. Remove test data and private information first. Only an original app you created can be sold as a paid kit. A cloned app cannot be resold as yours.

An agency builds a client onboarding portal: a clients project, an intake agent, and an automation that sends a welcome message when a new client row appears. After a few real engagements, the agency sets Let others clone to Paid and lists it. A freelancer buys it, clones it, swaps in their own email connection, and starts onboarding clients the same day. The agency's original portal keeps running untouched.

- Listing before cleanup. Projects can include current content, so remove private records first.
- Expecting accounts to travel. Connected accounts and secrets are not copied. Installers connect their own.
