Decide Who Can Open Your App at Publish

When you publish a draft Taskade Genesis app for the first time, the Publish panel now asks Who can open it after you publish. A Suggested choice is already picked. See Publish Your App for every option.

• Taskade picks the suggestion from what your app holds, for example a sign-in screen, or projects with emails and phone numbers
• Under the sign-in choice, Who can join offers Only people I add or Anyone with an account
• A note shows which forms stay open to everyone. It also warns you before you open personal details to anyone
• Taskade EVE no longer stops a build to ask who can open the app. You decide once, at Publish. Later publishes do not ask again

Open Taskade in the App on Your Phone

Taskade in a phone browser now offers to open the page you are on in the Taskade app. Get the app from Downloads.

• On Android, a small Get the Taskade app bar shows on a project, a workspace home, or an App Kit page. You can close it
• On iPhone, Open in the Safari app banner now opens the same project or workspace in the app. Before, it opened the last screen that you used

Settings That Save Right Away

The General settings of a workspace or an app now save as soon as you change them. Each row shows Saved next to the control. If a save fails, you can click Retry.

• Landing view is now Opens to, so it is clear what you see first when you open a workspace
• The name saves when you leave the field or press Enter. The Cancel and Save buttons are gone

Fixes

• An invitation to your app now stays valid for 7 days, so the person that you invite can set a password later
• A copied App Kit now keeps the field and task settings of its automations. It also gets later fixes to the app template
• Clone on the Browse tab now opens the new copy in a new tab, so you keep your place in the list
• On a phone or tablet, task names in the Month and Week views of the Calendar now have enough room. The task check boxes no longer crowd them
• Custom agents now open their knowledge projects directly, so they answer from their knowledge in fewer steps
