What does this Calendly automation do?
A named agent drafts a relevant recovery message when an invitee cancels and emails it to the owner for follow-up.
What can you do with it?
- Respond to cancellations with context
- Offer the right next step
- Keep a record of the recovery message
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Calendly — Event Canceled
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Booking Recovery")
- Then Taskade — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Booking Recovery" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your rescheduling policy and relationship context, remembers which recovery messages restored a booking, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
