What does this Typeform automation do?
A named agent identifies the theme in each response and appends it to a running research project.
What can you do with it?
- Tag open-text feedback on arrival
- Build a searchable research record
- Spot recurring themes over time
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Typeform — New Submission
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Survey Analyst")
- Then Taskade — Append Task Under Parent
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Survey Analyst" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your research questions and theme taxonomy, remembers themes found in earlier responses, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for product and research teams. A named agent identifies the theme in each response and appends it to a running research project.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
- Add the trigger "New Submission" from Typeform.
