What does this automation do?
Applications that miss the stated minimum stop at the filter, and the ones that clear it are screened by an agent that knows the role.
What can you do with it?
- Stop the run early on applications that miss the stated minimum
- Screen the rest against the role, not against a keyword list
- Give every shortlisted applicant a same-day acknowledgement
The Steps
This automation runs in 5 steps:
- When Form Submitted
- Then Filter — continue only when the application meets the stated minimum requirements
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Screening Desk")
- Then Taskade — Add Task
- Then Gmail — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Screening Desk" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows the role brief, the scorecard and your hiring bar, remembers how it scored earlier applicants for this role, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for hiring and program teams screening a high volume of applications. Applications that miss the stated minimum stop at the filter, and the ones that clear it are screened by an agent that knows the role.
