What does this Google Drive automation do?
A new file in the review folder emails the reviewer with a summary of what to look at.
What can you do with it?
- Tell the reviewer what changed, not just that something did
- Cut the delay between upload and review
- Skip the manual "can you look at this?" message
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Google Drive — New File
- Then Google Drive — Read file
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Review Desk")
- Then Taskade — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Review Desk" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows what each reviewer looks for in a document, remembers the earlier versions of the same file, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams with a review queue. A new file in the review folder emails the reviewer with a summary of what to look at.
