What does this Google Drive automation do?
A new contract is read, key terms are extracted, and a review task is raised for the right person.
What can you do with it?
- Surface dates, values, and obligations on arrival
- Stop contracts sitting unread in a shared folder
- Give every agreement a review owner
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Google Drive — New File
- Then Google Drive — Read file
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Contract Reader")
- Then Taskade — Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Contract Reader" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your standard terms, renewal windows and red flags, remembers the clauses it flagged on earlier contracts, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for legal, finance, and agency teams. A new contract is read, key terms are extracted, and a review task is raised for the right person.
