What does this Google Drive automation do?
Completed meeting tasks are written up by AI and saved as a new file in the right Drive folder.
What can you do with it?
- Get notes into Drive without a copy-paste step
- Keep the write-up consistent between meetings
- Make notes searchable where people already search
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Taskade — Task Completed
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Notes Editor")
- Then Google Drive — Create New File
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Notes Editor" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your notes format and the project vocabulary, remembers how earlier meetings were written up, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams whose record of truth is Drive. Completed meeting tasks are written up by AI and saved as a new file in the right Drive folder.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
- Add the trigger "Task Completed" from Taskade.
- Add the action "Ask Agent" from Taskade AI. Point it at an agent called "Notes Editor".
- Add the action "Create New File" from Google Drive.
- Connect your Google Drive account when prompted, then enable the toggle in the top-right corner.
Prefer to describe it instead? Click Build this flow with AI above and Taskade wires the trigger, the steps, and the agent for you.
