The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every day
- Then Airtable — List Records
- Then Taskade AI — Ask an agent ("Base Steward")
- Then Loop over each stale record — Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Base Steward" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows which record types go stale and how quickly, remembers the records it has already chased, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.

How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
- Add the trigger "Every day" from Schedule.
- Add the action "List Records" from Airtable.
- Add the action "Ask an agent" from Taskade AI. Point it at an agent called "Base Steward".
- Add a Loop step: Loop over each stale record — Add Task.
- Connect your Airtable account when prompted, then enable the toggle in the top-right corner.
