What does this Airtable automation do?
A daily read finds records that have not changed and raises tasks to chase them.
What can you do with it?
- Catch abandoned records early
- Give the chase an owner
- Keep the base trustworthy
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Day
- Then Airtable — List Records
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Base Steward")
- Then Loop over each stale record — Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Base Steward" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows which record types go stale and how quickly, remembers the records it has already chased, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
