What does this automation do?
Every completed project is reviewed and, if it is worth repeating, written into your workflow template library with the reasoning attached.
What can you do with it?
- Build a template library out of work you already finished
- Capture why a workflow worked, not just that it did
- Give new joiners a shelf of proven processes
- Stop reinventing a workflow that ran well last quarter
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Taskade — Project Completed
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Template Curator")
- Then Taskade — Append Task Under Parent
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Template Curator" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows the processes your team already runs well, remembers which templates get reused and which never do, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams whose best process lives in one person’s head. Every completed project is reviewed and, if it is worth repeating, written into your workflow template library with the reasoning attached.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
