What does this automation do?
Once a month, an agent reads your active projects and plans the workflows the next month actually needs.
What can you do with it?
- Plan from what is really open, not from last month’s plan
- Get the plan as a project the team can edit and commit to
- Carry forward what slipped instead of losing it
- Run the planning pass on the same day every month
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Month
- Then Taskade — Find Project(s)
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Capacity Planner")
- Then Taskade — Create Project
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Capacity Planner" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your active projects, owners, and delivery dates, remembers what slipped in previous months, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for team leads planning capacity ahead of the month. Once a month, an agent reads your active projects and plans the workflows the next month actually needs.
