What does this automation do?
A daily sweep of open work is read by an agent that reports what is stuck, what is drifting, and what needs a decision today.
What can you do with it?
- See what changed since yesterday rather than the whole board
- Catch a stall on the day it starts, not at the deadline
- Get the reason a workstream looks stuck, not just a flag
- Read one email instead of five project views
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Day
- Then Taskade — Find Task(s)
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Flow Watchdog")
- Then Taskade — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Flow Watchdog" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your workstreams, owners, and normal cycle times, remembers yesterday’s state of every workstream, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for delivery managers watching several workstreams. A daily sweep of open work is read by an agent that reports what is stuck, what is drifting, and what needs a decision today.
