What does this automation do?
A new document in Drive is read and the missing process detail is appended by an agent that already knows how your team writes.
What can you do with it?
- Fill the gaps in a process doc while it is still being written
- Keep documentation in the house style without a style review
- Write from the workflows that actually run, not from memory
- Stop documentation drifting from the process it describes
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Google Docs — New Document
- Then Google Docs — Read Document
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Docs Steward")
- Then Google Docs — Append Text
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Docs Steward" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your process docs and your house writing style, remembers the sections it has already written, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams whose process docs are always half-finished. A new document in Drive is read and the missing process detail is appended by an agent that already knows how your team writes.
