What does this automation do?
The agent runs this flow itself: it searches the mailbox, reasons over what it found, and sends the message that answers the question.
What can you do with it?
- Ask for a mailbox answer in plain language and get the search run
- Let the agent decide when the flow should run, not only what it does
- Keep a person on the outcome while the agent does the digging
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Agent Tool
- Then Microsoft Outlook — Find Email
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Mailbox Analyst")
- Then Microsoft Outlook — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Mailbox Analyst" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your folders, your contacts and what each thread is about, remembers the questions it has already answered from this mailbox, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for anyone who would rather ask than build a rule. The agent runs this flow itself: it searches the mailbox, reasons over what it found, and sends the message that answers the question.
