What does this automation do?
The run stops unless the sender is on your key-account list, so only the messages that matter are scored and forwarded to the person who owns them.
What can you do with it?
- Get the important sender in front of a human within minutes
- Keep routine mail out of the escalation path entirely
- Forward the message with context rather than a bare "FYI"
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Microsoft Outlook — New Email
- Then Filter — continue only when the sender is on your key-account list
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Escalation Desk")
- Then Microsoft Outlook — Forward Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Escalation Desk" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your key accounts, their contract terms and who owns each one, remembers what it escalated before and what came of it, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for account managers who cannot miss a message from a named customer. The run stops unless the sender is on your key-account list, so only the messages that matter are scored and forwarded to the person who owns them.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
- Add the trigger "New Email" from Microsoft Outlook.
- Add a Filter step: Filter — continue only when the sender is on your key-account list.
