What does this automation do?
Two days after an item is added, Taskade checks it. If it is still open, an agent writes the nudge and emails it to you.
What can you do with it?
- Get chased on the items you quietly abandoned
- Wait a real two days instead of nagging immediately
- Say nothing at all about the items you already finished
The Steps
This automation runs in 6 steps:
- When Google Tasks — New Task
- Then Delay — wait 2 days
- Then Google Tasks — Get Task
- Then Filter — continue only when the task is still open
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Nudge Desk")
- Then Taskade — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Nudge Desk" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your priorities and which commitments have real deadlines, remembers what it has already nudged you about, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
