What does this automation do?
Your open items are read each evening and an agent that knows how much you actually get through writes tomorrow’s shortlist back into the list.
What can you do with it?
- Start the day with a plan instead of a backlog
- Size the plan to what you really finish, not what you hope
- Put the plan where you will see it first thing
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Day
- Then Google Tasks — List Tasks
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Day Planner")
- Then Google Tasks — Create Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Day Planner" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your working hours, your priorities and your commitments, remembers what you actually finished on earlier days, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for individuals and leads who plan their own day. Your open items are read each evening and an agent that knows how much you actually get through writes tomorrow’s shortlist back into the list.
