What does this automation do?
The agent decides something belongs on your list, runs the saved command, writes it into Google Tasks, and files a record of what it added.
What can you do with it?
- Let the agent start the workflow instead of waiting inside one
- Run the same saved routine identically every time
- Keep a record of everything an agent put on your list
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Agent Tool
- Then Taskade AI — Run Agent Command ("Task Clerk")
- Then Google Tasks — Create Task
- Then Taskade — Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Task Clerk" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your saved commands and which list each one writes to, remembers everything it has already added for you, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for people giving an agent standing responsibility for a routine. The agent decides something belongs on your list, runs the saved command, writes it into Google Tasks, and files a record of what it added.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
