What does this automation do?
Every community message is screened by a fast, inexpensive model, and only the ones that need judgment go on to a frontier model and a named agent.
What can you do with it?
- Spend a cheap model on the volume and a frontier model on the exceptions
- Answer the routine question in the channel in seconds
- Escalate with the history attached, so a person starts informed
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Discord — New Message
- Then Groq — Ask AI
- Then Branch — Routine question: Send Message · Needs judgment: Ask Claude, Ask Agent, Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Community Lead" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your product docs, FAQ and community rules, remembers the questions the community keeps asking, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for community and support teams with more messages than judgment calls. Every community message is screened by a fast, inexpensive model, and only the ones that need judgment go on to a frontier model and a named agent.
How do you set it up?
