What does this Mailchimp automation do?
A new spreadsheet lead is scored by AI, and only qualified contacts are added to the list.
What can you do with it?
- Keep unqualified contacts off the list
- Score before you subscribe
- Protect deliverability by adding fewer, better contacts
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Google Sheets — New Row
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("List Gatekeeper")
- Then Filter — continue only when the contact passed the list criteria
- Then Mailchimp — Add Contact
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "List Gatekeeper" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your list criteria and deliverability rules, remembers which contacts engaged after they were added, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
