What does this automation do?
Completing a Taskade task sends an HTTP request to the configured callback endpoint and records the handoff on the task.

- Map task fields into the callback payload
- Leave a comment showing that the handoff ran

This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Taskade — Task Completed
- Then HTTP — Send HTTP Request
- Then Taskade — Add Comment
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams updating another system when Taskade work is finished. Completing a Taskade task sends an HTTP request to the configured callback endpoint and records the handoff on the task.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
- Add the trigger "Task Completed" from Taskade.
- Add the action "Send HTTP Request" from HTTP.
- Add the action "Add Comment" from Taskade.
- Enable the toggle in the top-right corner to activate the automation.
