What does this Google Sheets automation do?
An edited row raises a task, so changes to important records are reviewed rather than missed.
What can you do with it?
- Catch edits to pricing, quantities, or terms
- Get the change summarized instead of diffing by eye
- Keep a review trail on records that matter
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Google Sheets — Row Updated
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Change Auditor")
- Then Taskade — Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Change Auditor" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your pricing, terms and the columns that matter, remembers the edits it has already cleared, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for finance and compliance teams. An edited row raises a task, so changes to important records are reviewed rather than missed.
How do you set it up?
