What does this Google Calendar automation do?
A daily free/busy check finds overlaps and emails the conflicts before they bite.
What can you do with it?
- Catch double-bookings the day before
- Get the conflict explained, not just flagged
- Fix the clash while there is still time
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Day
- Then Google Calendar — Get Free/Busy
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Schedule Guard")
- Then Taskade — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Schedule Guard" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows which meetings you protect and who cannot be moved, remembers how you resolved earlier clashes, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for anyone managing several calendars. A daily free/busy check finds overlaps and emails the conflicts before they bite.
