What does this Google Calendar automation do?
A new calendar event triggers an AI-written brief and files it as a task before the meeting starts.
What can you do with it?
- Arrive with context instead of reading the invite in the room
- Get the brief written without preparing it
- Keep the prep attached to the meeting
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Google Calendar — New or Updated Event
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Meeting Prep")
- Then Taskade — Add Task
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Meeting Prep" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your accounts, attendees and open projects, remembers what was decided at the last meeting, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for anyone walking into meetings cold. A new calendar event triggers an AI-written brief and files it as a task before the meeting starts.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
