What does this automation do?
Someone joins and gets a written welcome plus the onboarding document, both tailored to what new members in this group actually ask first.
What can you do with it?
- Greet every member without watching the join list
- Hand over the rules and the getting-started doc in one go
- Improve the welcome as the agent learns what people ask next
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Telegram Bot — New Member
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Community Host")
- Then Telegram Bot — Send Message
- Then Telegram Bot — Send Document
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Community Host" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your group rules, your channels and your onboarding steps, remembers the questions new members ask in their first week, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
