What does this automation do?
A completed task reads the linked issue, transitions it to the next status, and comments with what was actually done.
What can you do with it?
- Close the ticket at the moment the work is done
- Leave a record of what changed rather than a bare status move
- Remove the end-of-sprint board tidy-up entirely
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Taskade — Task Completed
- Then Jira — Get Issue
