What does this automation do?
Every morning the active projects are found and an agent posts the state of play straight into its own chat, ready to be asked questions.
What can you do with it?
- Get the daily picture without opening five projects
- Ask the follow-up question in the same thread as the brief
- Keep the brief consistent because the same agent writes it
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Day
- Then Taskade — Find Project(s)
- Then Taskade — Send Message in Agent Chat ("Standup Runner")
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Standup Runner" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your active projects and who owns each one, remembers what slipped in yesterday brief, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for team leads who start the day asking where things stand. Every morning the active projects are found and an agent posts the state of play straight into its own chat, ready to be asked questions.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
