✅ Route Estimates Through Approval

Turn the way you already price work into an app that sends, chases, and closes quotes on its own. These prompts build the whole estimate loop: a price book you control, a builder that does the arithmetic, a link the customer accepts with one tap, and the follow-up that happens whether or not you remember.

Quotes go out of my business that I never see, and some of them should not have. Build me an estimate approval app. Keep an approval rules project where each rule has a trigger such as total value above an amount, a discount deeper than a percentage, or a customer type, plus the named approver and a deputy. When a quote matches a rule it goes into an approval queue with the quote, the reason it was flagged, who it is waiting on and how long it has been sitting. Approvers can approve, reject with a reason, or ask for a change. Record every decision permanently against the quote. Add an AI agent that writes the approver a short summary of what is being asked and why it is an exception, comparing it to similar quotes we have approved before. Automate two things: escalate to the deputy if an approval sits for more than one working day, and send me a scheduled weekly report of approval turnaround times. Three logins: a rep who submits, an approver who decides, and an owner who sees everything.

Route Estimates Through Approval

Route quotes above a threshold to the right approver with a deputy, a visible queue, and a full record of who approved what.

// the spark catches · intelligence awakens · the answer unfolds

Every business has a number above which one person should not quote alone. This builds the rule and the record: who approves what, how long they have, and what happened.

What's Included

  • An approval threshold by value, by discount depth, or by customer type.
  • A named approver per rule with a deputy, so leave does not stop the business.
  • A visible queue of what is waiting and how long it has been waiting.
  • An assistant that summarises the quote and the reason for the exception for the approver.

How To Use

  1. Set the threshold at the number you would genuinely want to see.
  2. Name a deputy for every approver on day one.
  3. Track time in the queue. A slow approval loses deals as reliably as a high price.
  4. Review the log monthly to see whether the threshold is still right.

Pair it with the discount approval matrix, and keep reps inside their limits with rep quote approvals.
