💼 Write the Business Case for a Governance Programme

I have been asked to justify spending anything on AI governance. Build me a business case app. Record the cost of the program honestly, including software, external advice and, most significantly, the internal time of everyone involved. Record what it prevents, sized from our own incident record and near misses rather than from industry headlines, with the cost of each incident where we know it. Record what it enables, which is the stronger argument: use cases approved and delivering measured benefit, initiatives that could proceed because the process existed, and customer or partner requirements we could satisfy. Show the position over time so the case is updated rather than written once. Add an AI agent that drafts the case for a non technical board, leading with enablement rather than fear, using only our own recorded figures, and clearly separating what we have measured from what we have estimated. Automate a scheduled annual refresh of the case against what actually happened in the year. Two logins: a governance owner who maintains the evidence, and a leadership view that sees the case.
