What does this Todoist automation do?
A weekly run reads the Todoist completions logged into your Taskade project and turns them into a written review.
What can you do with it?
- Get the review drafted from real data
- See themes rather than a list
- Keep next week’s planning in the same place
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When Schedule — Every Week
- Then Taskade — Find Task(s)
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Weekly Reviewer")
- Then Taskade — Create Project
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Weekly Reviewer" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your goals and the projects you are tracking, remembers what you reviewed last week, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by your other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for anyone doing a weekly review. A weekly run reads the Todoist completions logged into your Taskade project and turns them into a written review.
