What does this automation do?
A new contact is left alone for three days, then an agent that knows the account writes the follow-up and sends it — a wait that survives a restart.
What can you do with it?
- Follow up on day three every time, without a reminder in a calendar
- Send a note that references the actual enquiry, not a template
- Trust the wait, because the engine holds it rather than a process
The Steps
This automation runs in 4 steps:
- When HubSpot — New Contact
- Then Delay — wait 3 days
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Follow Up Writer")
- Then Gmail — Send Email
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Follow Up Writer" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your offers, tone and past winning outreach, remembers who it has already followed up with, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for sales teams whose follow-ups depend on somebody remembering. A new contact is left alone for three days, then an agent that knows the account writes the follow-up and sends it — a wait that survives a restart.
