What does this automation do?
A completed meeting task is written up by an agent in your notes format and saved as a new document in the right folder.
What can you do with it?
- Get notes into Docs without a copy-and-paste step
- Keep every write-up in the same shape
- Make notes searchable where people already search
The Steps
This automation runs in 3 steps:
- When Taskade — Task Completed
- Then Taskade AI — Ask Agent ("Notes Editor")
- Then Google Docs — Create Document
What makes this different from a Zapier-style flow?
The "Notes Editor" step is not a one-off model call. It is a Taskade AI agent that knows your notes format and the project vocabulary your team uses, remembers how earlier meetings in this series were written up, so every run builds on the last one instead of starting from an empty prompt.
A stateless "ask the model" step forgets everything the moment it returns. An agent keeps its knowledge and its memory between runs, carries its own tools, and can be handed work by other automations.
Who is this automation for?
Built for teams whose record of truth is a Docs folder. A completed meeting task is written up by an agent in your notes format and saved as a new document in the right folder.
How do you set it up?
- Open the "Automations" tab in your workspace.
- Click ➕ Add automation, then start from scratch.
- Add the trigger "Task Completed" from Taskade.
- Add the action "Ask Agent" from Taskade AI. Point it at an agent called "Notes Editor".
